COVID 19 Tracing & Privacy Information
The event managers will use the information you have provided in your registration for COVID-19 contact tracing, if necessary. You should not attend the conference if you are unwell, have any COVID-19 symptoms or if you need to be in isolation for any reason.
Please refer to the uniteforrecovery.govt.nz website for details about the current alert level. The event organisers will take all recommended steps to ensure a safe environment however they accept no responsibility should an outbreak of COVID-19 happen at/result from the event.
In the event of cancellation or postponement of the conference due to circumstances beyond reasonable control including, but not limited to, acts of terrorism, war, acts of God, pandemics, and natural disaster, the conference cannot be held responsible for any cost, damage or expense which may be incurred by registrants as a consequence of the event being postponed or cancelled. The conference organisers disclaim any and all liability to any person in respect of the consequences of any failure to operate, accident or injury which may occur on services reserved.
It may be necessary for the conference to alter the times, dates, itineraries or presenting speakers at any time. Every endeavour will be made to communicate all changes to delegates in a timely manner. The conference organisers reserve the right to change information as needed.
In the event of conference cancellation, the maximum liability of the conference is limited to a refund of the conference registration fee, less any costs already incurred, with no additional liability for travel costs, hotel costs, or any other costs or expenses whatsoever.
We are committed to providing a vibrant, engaging and fresh conference for 2022 amidst this uncertainty. That is why we have outlined the different COVID Traffic Light Systems and how we would respond as an organisation. We have taken the guidance from the Ministry of Health and also applied a common-sense approach.
The following is an outline of how we will proceed.
• In-person conference is delivered with 200 people max in a defined space and 1-metre distancing applies. Face masks will be required.

Cancellation & Refund Policy
Cancellation before 16 September 2022 will incur a $150.00 cancellation fee, with the remainder refunded.
Cancellation on or after 16 September 2022 will incur a 100% cancellation fee. Substitute delegates are welcome without penalty, but please advise OnCue of any name change, for administration purposes. There will be no refunds for any booked delegate who do not attend on the day.
Delegates are encouraged to take out personal travel and medical insurance which includes loss or damage of personal possessions, including loss of registration and accommodation fees through cancellation.
Unless you indicate otherwise on the registration form, the organisers will include your name on the list of conference participants distributed to delegates and sponsors.
By clicking "agree" when you register, you are agreeing to the terms and conditions and acknowledging that a risk of exposure to Covid19 exists in any public place where people are present. By attending the conference you and any guests voluntarily assume all risks related to exposure to Covid19 and agree not to hold New Zealand Arboriculture or conference organisers OnCue; or any of their affiliates, directors, officers, employees, agents, contractors or volunteers liable for any illness or injury.
